Bosses at a local McDonald's restaurant have apologised to a West Lothian family after their dining experience left them feeling 'disgusted'.
Sharing pictures of her visit, Jackie from Livingston, found the fast-food eatery covered in rubbish, with sticky tables.
The gran, who took her ten-year-old granddaughter, to McDonald's on Wednesday night, said she was shocked at the smell and mess at the Centre branch on Almondvale Road.
The fast food chain has since apologised to the family and say they will review conditions.

The gran told how she could not stand the smell and saw bins piled with empty containers and trash littered around the floor and how it was hard to spot an accessible table due to the surrounding mess.
Speaking to Edinburgh Live Jackie said: "It was absolutely disgusting, staff were more bothered about the Just Eat orders going out the door.
"Every table had trays, food and spilt drinks over them and that was at 7.30pm last night."
She continued: "We couldn't stand the smell, I had taken my granddaughter to the Playhouse and this was a treat for her before dropping her home.
"She's only 10, when we sat down we hadn't seen the bins yet as they weren't visible from where we ordered on the screen.
"I also have cerebral palsy and use a walker so had to sit where was accessible for me."
Other local customers slammed the fast food restaurant for its cleanliness.
Irina Mitchell said: "Went once early morning for a coffee, every single table had food wrapping or ketchup spilt all over. It must be from last night as well. Disgusting."
Ian Buckle said: "We were there last weekend and the male toilets were vile with pee all over the floor. I wouldn’t eat there again if you paid me. Tables were filthy too."
While Thomas Jackson said: "This has to be the worst McDonald’s around!"

The Livingston Almondvale Avenue restaurant passed its most recent Food Hygiene visit.
A spokesperson for McDonald’s said: “We are sorry to hear about this customer’s experience.
"At McDonald’s, we pride ourselves on stringent hygiene and cleanliness standards with procedures in place to ensure restaurants are clean and tidy throughout the day.
"On this occasion, we have fallen short of our usual high standards and will review ways in which to address this. We would encourage the customer to contact our Customer Services team.”
