A man has been convicted of trying to snatch a teenage girl off the street of a West Lothian town with intent to rape her.
Simbarashe Mazadza had denied attempting to abduct the 17 year old in Marjoribanks Street, Bathgate, on 22 April 2021.
But local residents who rushed to the aid of the teenager when they heard her “bloodcurdling screams” noted the registration number of his car and told police.
