West Lothian’s unique floating holiday park wants to install two huge towers for water sports.
Couston Lakes opened last year in an old quarry near Bathgate and say they are the UK’s only floating holiday destination.
Now, as they expand the holiday park they want to create water sport activities in the quarry to help attract more tourists.
The lake in the quarry currently has five house boats for guests to stay in during their visit to the holiday park.

They have also recently installed two luxury glamping pods that sit at the water’s edge.
Both options are family and pet friendly and have space for up to four people.
Now, they have announced on their website that they are moving into the second phase of the holiday project.
They say they are building a restaurant, spa and gym, and also indoor and outdoor recreation and activity centres.
One of the leisure activities they look to be perusing is wakeboarding, as shown by a planning application to the council.
It reveals that they plan to install two massive nine metre high towers on the banks of the lake, with a zipline, connecting between the two.
The owners Couston 2012 Ltd are also offering cut price deals throughout March.
In a special offer they have two night stays available for under £100 per night, and if you book for three nights it drops to just £79.95.
The rural holiday spot is accessed from the A800 road to Bathgate, to the east of the junction with the A801, which connects Junction 4 of the M8 to Junction 4 of the M9.
West Lothian Council are expected to make a decision on the planning application in the coming weeks.
