West Lothian children's cancer charity to hold jubilee celebration to support young people with the condition

The Team Jak charity is holding a Jubilee Fun Day and Big Bake Off on Friday, June 3 to mark the Queen’s Jubilee.

The event runs from 2pm to 4pm and entry is £1 per person that includes a scone and cuppa.

Entry to bake off is free, just bring your own cake along for judging at 2.30pm.

There will also be performances from Star Harmonies and Livingston Ukulele Band and craft tables and lucky dips for Kids plus merchandise table.

The charity helps children and young people with cancer, their family, friends and those bereaved, and for families dealing with cancer.

Team Jak was created at the request of inspirational teenager Jak Trueman following his own journey with childhood cancer.

It has Jak’s Den in Livingston as well as several other satellite bases around the country.
