West Lothian charity destroyed by blaze as firefighters battle inferno

West Lothian Armadale Edinburgh Scottish Fire and Rescue Service

A charity base in West Lothian has been destroyed by a fire as emergency services were called on Wednesday afternoon.

Scottish Fire and Rescue Service received a call at around 11.30am on Wednesday, March 29, as the Men's Shed in Armadale was engulfed by flames.

Lothian Buses have warned that buses are unable to serve Armadale until further notice as the road is blocked off as Police Scotland, the Scottish Ambulance Service and six fire appliances attend the scene.
