A west London councillor has been suspended by the Labour Party after it emerged that she employed an illegal worker in her home.
Former Deputy Mayor of Hounslow Councillor Hina Mir recently sought to overturn a county court fine issued in January that required her to pay £40,000 for employing an illegal worker. She attempted to appeal this fine and it was rejected by the judge.
