A west London Labour councillor and current Pensions Board Chair was ordered to pay more than £4,500 in outstanding council tax accrued amid a dispute over the classification of his basement.
New information released to the Local Democracy Reporting Service (LDRS) has revealed that Councillor Ashok Patel, a member for Sands End in Hammersmith and Fulham, was issued with a court summons in 2023/24 having built up the outstanding tax over the space of three years.
