NEW DELHI: West Indies cricketer Devon Thomas has been handed a five-year ban from cricket by the International Cricket Council (ICC) after confessing to seven violations of anti-corruption regulations. The ICC announced the decision on Thursday, with Thomas agreeing to the charges.
Thomas, who represented the West Indies in 34 international matches spanning from 2009 to 2022, found himself embroiled in misconduct across multiple tournaments, including the Caribbean Premier League, the Lanka Premier League, and the Abu Dhabi T10.
