West Indies commit to gender pay equity among cricketers

Cricket West Indies (CWI) on Friday pledged its commitment to achieving gender pay equity for its players by entering into a new Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the West Indies Players Association (WIPA).

This MoU, effective from October 1, 2023, to September 30, 2027, encompasses comprehensive agreements regarding player remuneration and updated terms and conditions throughout the West Indies system.
