West Ham return to action for the first time as European champions tonight when they begin their pre-season schedule with a friendly at Boreham Wood.
The Hammers will wear their new kit for the 2023-24 season, which they unveiled this morning without Declan Rice as he closes in on his £105million move to Arsenal.
Gianluca Scamacca is expected to be in the squad at Boreham Wood despite the uncertainty over his future.
West Ham remain adamant Scamacca will not be sold the cheap despite the Italian striker seeking a return to Serie A this summer.
Roma and AC Milan have expressed an interest in Scamacca, who wants to leave just a year after joining West Ham for £35m.
Kurt Zouma, Jarrod Bowen, Lukasz Fabianski, Aaron Cresswell, Pablo Fornals, Danny Ings, Flynn Downes, Angelo Ogbonna and are also set to feature this evening, along with a host of younger players.
The West Ham squad is then due to fly out to Australia this week to continue their pre-season preparations Down Under. They play Perth Glory on Saturday and then face Tottenham next Tuesday in what will be Ange Postecoglou’s first game as Spurs head coach.
