West Ham teenagers continue stunning record after adding Tottenham to Arsenal and Chelsea scalps

West Ham United's under-18s moved 13 points clear at the top of the Under-18s Premier League South table with a stunning 4-3 win over Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.

Kevin Keen's side, who have won all ten of their league matches so far this season, went into their London derby with Spurs on Saturday morning 12 points clear of Tottenham, who started the weekend second in the table after beating Norwich City 3-0 on Tuesday, with West Ham coming behind to beat Chelsea 4-2 earlier that day.

Like their win over Chelsea just four days earlier, West Ham were made to come from behind to keep their perfect start to the league season alive, with Will Lankshear scoring twice in the first 15 minutes to put Spurs 2-0 up.

Four minues after Lankshear's brace, West Ham did pull it back to 2-1 through Lewis Orford, but Lankshear found the target again early in the second half to restore Spurs' two-goal advantage.

With less than 30 minutes to go, league leaders West Ham looked in serious danger of losing their perfect record, but still found a way to get back into the game and pick up three points.

Ollie Scarles, the 16-year-old who made both his first-team debut and scored the winner against Spurs' under-21s from a free-kick, made it 3-2 with just over 25 minutes remaining to give West Ham hope of a late win.

Striker Divin Mubama, who also started along with Scarles against FCSB last month, turned defeat into victory, scoring twice in the space of three minutes to put the Hammers 4-3 ahead with 14 minutes remaining, taking his record in the under-18s league to four goals in as many games this season.

Forward Callum Marshall, who signed his first professional contract less than a week ago, captained the side and got the assist for Scarles' goal in the match.

The win over Tottenham came exactly a week after beating Arsenal 4-1 and just four days after a 4-2 win over Chelsea, completing a triple of the three London clubs in the 'big six' at senior level in the space of a week.

The Hammers' under-18s have just one league game left before the Christmas break, facing a trip to Norwich on Saturday, December 17. They also have a tie in the third round of the FA Youth Cup against Sheffield United on Wednesday, December 14.
