West Ham supporters staged yet another protest in their FA Cup tie away at Burton on Saturday.

The stunt before kick-off, the latest in a series of sustained protests against the club’s board, resulted in a delay to the fourth round tie at the Pirelli Stadium getting underway.

Kick-off between the Premier League strugglers and the League One strugglers was slated for 12.15pm GMT on Saturday but was pushed back by over five minutes due to the net in one of the goals coming loose.

And as players and match officials patiently waited for repairs to be carried out, a plane sporting a protest banner flew overhead.

The banner read: "Sullivan and Brady out - no more BS.”

Furthermore, supporters displayed a banner in the stands which read: "Time to sell. Name your price. BS out."

This comes after West Ham supporters staged a sit-in protest after their 3-1 win over Newcastle at the London Stadium at the start of November.

Supporters voiced their frustrations at chairman David Sullivan and vice-chair Karren Brady, whom the supporters’ group Hammers United are calling on to resign.

Earlier in the season supporters marched on the directors’ entrance ahead of West Ham’s 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, with thousands of fans partaking in a total boycott of Nuno Espirito Santo’s first home game in charge against Brentford.

The Hammers, who were denied all three points in stoppage time against Manchester United on Tuesday night, are much changed for the FA Cup fourth round tie.

In fact, Nuno Espirito Santo opted to make ten changes to his side with Dinos Mavropanos the sole survivor from the 1-1 draw against Man United at the London Stadium.

West Ham failed to make the breakthrough in the first half, though regardless of the outcome, the latest protest is likely to be the main talking point come full-time.
