Gianluca Scamacca has said he is hoping for an improved FIFA rating after scoring his first Premier League goal for West Ham United.
The Hammers claimed a first home win of the season in the Premier League as Scamacca and Jarrod Bowen scored in a 2-0 victory against Wolves on Saturday, with West Ham moving out of the bottom three and above their opponents as a result.
Both goalscorers netted their first strikes in the Premier League this term in the win, with Scamacca ending his wait for a goal in the English top flight in his sixth appearance in the competition, having started ahead of Michail Antonio in David Moyes' side.

And Scamacca hailed the importance of the win for the Hammers as they returned to Premier League action after the international break, with West Ham going into the fortnight off the back of a disappointing performance and result in a 1-0 defeat at Everton last month. The Italian striker was also quick to point out his current FIFA 23 rating, having been given an overall rating of 80, with a potential of 86.
Speaking to Sky Sports after his man of the match performance against Wolves, Scamacca said: "It's good, it's good. I hope the FIFA rating [will be better]. But no, we win this game and this is important."
West Ham now turn their attention to the UEFA Europa Conference League, with Scamacca looking to add to his tally of three goals in the competition already this season, after netting in both legs of the play-off tie with Viborg and in the Hammers' 3-2 victory against Silkeborg.
