West Ham's next six Premier League fixtures compared to Man Utd, Arsenal, Wolves and Tottenham

West Ham's point against Leicester City gave the Hammers the slightest of leads in the race for next season's Champions League with the Hammers currently in fourth place.

David Moyes' team have 13 Premier League games remaining this season and are currently sitting on 41 points from 25 matches. Moyes has challenged his players to beat last season's tally of 65 points with the manager targeting 67 as this was what the 2020-21 fourth-placed side Chelsea achieved.

Currently, the Hammers are averaging 1.95 points per game and if they continue at this rate they will end the campaign with 66 points and a shot at the Champions League.

West Ham can only control their own results and with all of their top-four rivals having games in hand, ranging from three in Tottenham's case to one for Manchester United, Champions League qualification via the league could be out of the Hammers' hands.

Triumph in the Europa League remains a possibility for West Ham and would bring a spot in next season's elite European competition as a result.

With Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea looking out of sight it appears the race for the final Champions League spot, two Europa League places (5th and 6th) and Europa Conference League (7th) are what remains open to West Ham.

February and March are set to be decisive months for all the clubs in the European race and football.london has taken a look at the upcoming fixtures.

West Ham (4th - 25 played, 41 points)

Next six fixtures: Newcastle (h), Wolves (h), Liverpool (a), Aston Villa (h), Tottenham (a), Everton (h)

After back-to-back defeats at the hands of Leeds and Manchester United, West Ham have bounced back with a win and draw against Watford and Leicester respectively, albeit in unconvincing fashion.

The next six matches are not easy for West Ham and Moyes' team will need to improve on their recent performances if they want to keep the pressure on those around them.

Newcastle are on the up after a busy transfer window but will face the Hammers without Kieran Trippier after a bone fracture in his foot. However, the Magpies are full of confidence and on a five-match unbeaten Premier League run.

Anything from the trip to Anfield will be seen as a bonus and the clashes with Wolves and Tottenham could be key for West Ham. However, Moyes will be keen to avoid slip-ups at home against Villa and Everton who are both under new management since the reverse fixtures.

The next six fixtures are crucial for West Ham and on paper look tough, this run will be a true test of where the Hammers stand and could define how their season pans out.

Manchester United (5th - 24 played, 40 points)

Arsenal (6th - 22 played, 39 points)

Next six fixtures: Brentford (h), Wolves (h), Watford (a), Leicester (h), Aston Villa (a), Crystal Palace (a)

Wolves (7th - 23 played, 37 points)

Next six fixtures: Leicester (h), Arsenal (a), West Ham (a), Crystal Palace (h), Everton (a), Leeds (h)

Spurs (8th - 22 played, 36 points)

Next six fixtures: Man City (a), Burnley (a), Leeds (a), Everton (h), Man United (a), West Ham (h)
