West Ham handed Aaron Wan-Bissaka transfer boost as Manchester United target Noussair Mazraoui

West Ham’s hopes of signing Aaron Wan-Bissaka have been boosted after Manchester United expressed an interest in Bayern Munich full-back Noussair Mazraoui.

The arrival of Mazraoui, who previously worked with United boss Erik ten Hag at Ajax, would help pave the way for Wan-Bissaka to leave.

The right-back has entered the final year of his contract at Old Trafford and United are ready to cash in on him this summer.

West Ham want to sign a new right-back after Ben Johnson left for Ipswich following the expiry of his contract.

The Hammers have shown an interest in Southampton’s Kyle Walker-Peters, who has one year left on his contract, but Wan-Bissaka is emerging as their preferred target.

West Ham have already bolstered their defence with the signing of Max Kilman from Wolves for £40million, however they are eyeing further reinforcements.

A loan deal has been agreed with Nice for Jean-Clair Todibo, but there are fears that he his holding out for Juventus to make a move.

England defender Fikayo Tomori is another target West Ham could pursue and he has shone at AC Milan after leaving Chelsea three years ago.

France midfielder N’Golo Kante remains of interest to West Ham, but Saudi club Al-Ittihad are reluctant to sell and have already rejected a £15m bid.

West Ham also want to add a winger and Leeds’ Crysencio Summerville is a target, along with Arsenal’s Reiss Nelson and Portugal forward Jota Silva.
