West Ham have made a major update to their club website surrounding Declan Rice as he nears a £105million move to Arsenal. After seeing two offers rejected, the Gunners submitted a third proposal that reached triple figures with the Hammers then negotiating the payment structure of the bid after Manchester City pulled out of the race.
Talks surrounding how the fee will be paid has been the prominent topic over the last week and the final details could be completed by Monday. Personal terms will not be an issue with the 24-year-old's preferred destination always remaining as Emirates Stadium despite Man City's interest and formal bid.
The main issues with the two opening offers was how Arsenal were proposing they pay the up front fee. Although £100million in guaranteed funds is set to be given to West Ham for Rice, Arsenal were hoping to spread out the full cost across a number of years, but the east Londoners want it paid in full by the start of 2025.
