West Ham are closing in on sealing their fifth summer signing to date after agreeing a €40million fee with Lille for Amadou Onana.
football.london understands that the Hammers have now agreed a fee with the Ligue 1 club, which is worth around €40million including add-ons, with Onana now set to become West Ham's fifth summer signing, following on from the arrivals of Nayef Aguerd, Alphonse Areola, Flynn Downes and Gianluca Scamacca.
Onana's arrival would take West Ham's summer spending north of £100million, with the club already spending just over £80million on their four signings so far.

The 20-year-old Belgian midfielder has also been linked with Everton and Leicester City, but it is understood that West Ham have now met the asking price set by Lille, with reports in France now suggesting that Onana is close to crossing the channel, with his current club already searching for replacements.
Onana joined Lille last summer from Hamburger SV and signed a five-year deal, with the Senegal-born midfielder impressing as he made 40 appearances for the Ligue 1 side last term, earning him a first call-up to the senior Belgium squad. He made his debut for the Red Devils in June, featuring in a 4-1 defeat against the Netherlands in the UEFA Nations League.
Meanwhile, football.london also understands that West Ham are keen on Eintracht Frankfurt's Filip Kostic and Burnley forward Maxwel Cornet, although they are only likely to sign one of them.
