A West End star has revealed new details of her former relationship with the Duke of Edinburgh.
In a memoir to be published in July, Ruthie Henshall tells of her initial meeting with Edward at a theatre, the denim dungarees she wore to her first visit to Buckingham Palace, feeling “mortified” after forgetting to curtsey to the late Queen and other anecdotes from the five-year relationship with the duke until 1993.
