Between the brand's timeless designs and its stellar designer collaborations, West Elm serves up some truly classic choices for the home. And when it comes to rugs, West Elm's collection acts as a one-stop shop for a range of colors, patterns, and styles. Let's be honest, choosing a floor covering is hard enough, so why scroll through endless options when you can scroll through a curated selection of warm color palettes, cozy textures, and charming style?
Granted, I haven't actually tried a West Elm rug myself — my first introduction to the brand's soft furnishings was through not one, but two collaborations with Pierce & Ward (a masterclass in blending modern rug trends with retro aesthetics). However, Livingetc's editor, Hugh Metcalf, says, "I own a few West Elm rugs, and in my experience, they're great not only for those luxurious pure wool designs, but also for a lot of easy-to-clean styles." Of course, high-quality design is important, but being 'easy-to-clean' is even more ideal when you're choosing a rug for high-traffic areas, like the living room, entryway, or dining room.
