Working to keep Clydebank Town Hall open will be a priority for councillors elected in the Clydebank Central ward on May 5.
Arrangements to re-open Clydebank Town Hall for a trial period of six months in a bid to improve the well-being of residents were agreed at the beginning of the year.
The decision to open the hall for six months during the financial year 2022/23 was made during a cultural committee meeting in December last year.

Earlier this week it was confirmed that major renovation work at the town hall was almost complete with redecoration of the stairwells and galleries due to finish this week.
The ward covers northern parts of the town of Clydebank, although despite its name it only includes part of the town centre, namely the areas north of the Forth and Clyde Canal at the Clyde Shopping Centre, Clyde Retail Park and Clydebank Business Centre while south of the canal is within the Clydebank Waterfront ward.
Residential neighbourhoods in the ward include Drumry, Kilbowie, Linnvale, North Mountblow, Parkhall and Radnor Park.
