A row of shops in West Bridgford has been put on the market and business owners are "looking forward" to it. Fountain Court in Gordon Road holds four units and is listed on Rightmove at £1.8 million.
The detached two storey building is looking for a new owner whilst all premises are keep their existing leases. It is home to three businesses: an estate agents, gift shop and a Rushcliffe Borough Council centre - and all were aware of the building being up for sale.
Director of Royston and Lund estate agents, Alex Harding, said: "We were aware. It’s been on the market for a little while now with a number of viewings. In terms of impact, there hasn’t been any. The agent has undertaken all viewings and we have been made aware in advance.

"This has been our home since we opened in 1994. We are looking forward to working with the new owner as, when and if that happens in the future. We think the property offers a fantastic position within West Bridgford which is why we’ve always stayed here."
The manager of Fair Trade gift shop, Igazu, who asked not to be named, said: "I am aware of it but I am not the owner so I don't know the full details but I hope it will not impact us. It seems a lot of money to me but I only know about house prices not business prices."
Rushcliffe Borough Council leases a customer service centre in the building. They say they are aware of the sale and there will be no changes to the site.
