West Bengal panchayat elections: BJP’s Amit Malviya praises court orders on deployment of central forces on booths

NEW DELHI: The BJP has expressed gratefulness to the Supreme Court for its orders on enhanced deployment of central forces in the booths of West Bengal which will face panchayat elections on July 8.

In a tweet on Thursday, BJP’s co-in-charge of West Bengal Amit Malviya said, “Grateful to the Supreme Court and Calcutta High Court for their several judgments in the context of Bengal Panchayat poll, which will go a long way in restoring people’s confidence in democracy.”
