West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee throws open new-look Milan Mela, outlines state’s BGBS goals

KOLKATA: Delegates from 14 countries will attend this year’s Bengal Global Business Summit BGBS) that will be held on April 20, 21, announced chief minister Mamata Banerjee while inaugurating the refurbished Milan Mela ground, christened ‘Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan’ on Monday.

“Bengal is now the industry gateway. We could not organise BGBS for the last two years due to the pandemic. As far as I know, 14 countries will attend BGBS this time,” the CM said. The BGBS dinner will be hosted at Milan Mela on April 19, she added.
