A West Belfast man has organised a walk to raise Stem Cell Donor Awareness after the death of his daughter.
Eimear Smyth was diagnosed with stage two Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, a type of blood cancer, in September 2016 and after finding a stem cell donor match, the Coolnasilla woman underwent a transplant two years later.
She sadly passed away on June 27, 2019 after complications.
