Wesley Fofana has followed on from dropping his social media transfer hint on Tuesday to drop another major clue as Leicester expected to respond to Chelsea's world-record bid very soon, football.london understands.
The 21-year-old's future is very much up in the air, and the uncertainty is something that could be visibly seen in his body language during Leicester vs Brentford. In that game week one contest, the Frenchman walked straight down the tunnel at full-time. Prior to kick-off, Brendan Rodgers commented on his plus James Maddison's future as constant transfer speculation draws on in the media remit.
"Yes, 100 per cent. I think it's always a challenging time until the window shuts. There's always speculation and gossip around players leaving, but I always assess the players every day, and if their mentality and commitment doesn't change, then that's all you want," he told Sky Sports pre-match. "So, yeah, both players are very important players for us, and I look forward to seeing them play."

It is understood that Fofana wants the move, although Leicester believe that despite the minor internal pressures that he has put on the club to soften their stance, he isn't prepared to force the move.
Therefore, new owner Todd Boehly will have to force the issue, and that's exactly what he has done as football.london understands that a new add-ons heavy world-record bid for the Premier League ace has been sent the Foxes direction.
They haven't yet responded to the offer, but negotiations are continuing this week in what is to be a pivotal time in this transfer saga.
Whilst both clubs try and agree upon a deal that will benefit both teams, Fofana has followed up previous social media hints to drop more this week.
On Tuesday, it was revealed that he followed and is followed by both Reece James and Marc Cucurella. Fast forward 24 hours, and he has now followed a further two Blues stars in the form of new recruit Carney Chukwuemeka and goalkeeper Edouard Mendy.
This activity echoes what Kai Havertz was doing back in 2020 when he wanted to switch from Bayer Leverkusen, who at the time, like Leicester, were playing hardball with their star. Then look what happened. Could the same type of scenario develop in this situation with Fofana? Only time will tell.
