Wes Streeting has called Israel’s attacks on the West Bank ‘intolerable’ and ‘unjustifiable’ amid calls for an end to settler violence in the Palestinian territory.

Speaking at a Guardian Live event, the UK health secretary told listeners that the illegal attacks across the West Bank “don’t serve in Israel’s self interest” and “cannot be justified as self defence.”
