Welsh health minister Eluned Morgan banned from driving for speeding

Welsh Health Minister Eluned Morgan has apologised after being handed a six-month driving ban for speeding.

She received the disqualification for accumulating too many points on her licence after going over the 30mph limit on a road in Wrexham last June.

"This is not something I am proud of and I apologise unreservedly," she said in a statement, having pleaded guilty to the charge.
