New study links weight loss jabs to huge drop in alcohol-related hospital admissions

Alcohol diabetes

Weight loss drugs such like Wegovy and Mounjaro could be linked to a drop in the amount of people who are dependent on alcohol being admitted to hospital.

GLP-1s are primarily used to treat diabetes and obesity by mimicking hormones to regulate blood sugar and reduce appetite.
