Plans to roll out the weight-loss drug Mounjaro on the NHS have been blasted as “unambitious” as they will reach only a “woefully small number of people”, according to MPs.
Only around 6% of eligible people will get or currently receive Mounjaro (a GLP-1 weight loss drug) on the NHS in its first three years, with millions more turning to private firms, according to the Commons Health and Social Care Committee.
