Weekend weather forecast for Greater Manchester as cold snap continues

It's set to be another cold weekend in Greater Manchester - but there will be some sunshine.

According to the Met Office, temperatures will not rise above 5C today (Saturday) in our region after another freezing cold night. The mercury is predicted to remain at freezing at 10am, before it slowly rises to 5C by 2pm this afternoon.

Forecasters predict it will feel more like 2C though this afternoon, so it will be a chilly day ahead. It is forecast to be a mostly sunny and clear day, with a clear evening also expected.
