Weekend Lotto jackpot almost £12m after no-one wins Wednesday’s top prize

Saturday’s “must be won” lottery jackpot is an estimated £11.8 million after no-one scooped Wednesday’s top prize.

No ticket-holders matched all six main numbers to win the jackpot.

Camelot’s Andy Carter said: “It promises to be an exciting night for Lotto players on Saturday with a fantastic £11.8 million ‘must be won’ jackpot up for grabs. In a ‘must be won’ draw, if the jackpot isn’t won, the prize amount is shared out amongst the other prize tiers, meaning lots of players could win lots more.”

On Wednesday, no player matched five numbers and the bonus ball to win £1 million. There were 48 players who each won £1,750 after matching five of the six numbers. The winning Lotto numbers were 04, 07, 19, 23, 50, 58 and the bonus number was 08. Set of balls three and draw machine Lancelot were used.

No players matched all five numbers to win the Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw. But eight tickets matched four numbers to claim £13,000 each. The winning Thunderball numbers were 05, 12, 16, 17, 26 – and the Thunderball was 11.

No players scooped the £500,000 top prize by matching five numbers and the Thunderball, or £5,000 by matching five numbers, but 32 ticketholders claimed £250 each.
