The couple, who are back hosting ITV ’s Weekend Kitchen this Saturday, will celebrate their fourth wedding anniversary this year – and their secret is a properly made bed.

Asked what makes their marriage work, John, 57, says: “A really well-made bed. You spend lots of time in it! Honestly, the bedroom – having that sanctuary of a place to go to, I think that’s really important.
