The Seattle Seahawks are under 90 minutes from kicking off against the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday Night Football. It has been a tumultuous week in the injury department for both teams, especially at the quarterback position.
Both Geno Smith and Jalen Hurts’ status was up in the air. Smith with a groin injury, and Hurts with an illness. But both will be in the starting lineup tonight, proving once again the physical and mental toughness of both athletes.
The bad news is Seattle’s defense has taken a hit. Rookie sensation Devon Witherspoon is inactive, depriving us of a narrative between him and Jalen Carter in the same game – the defensive linemen the Seahawks did not draft.
Interestingly enough, Jamal Adams is out. 2023 has been rough for Adams on and off the field.
