Here’s an early look at the fantasy players you’ll be targeting off the waiver wire this week. None of these players are rostered in more than 50% of Yahoo! leagues. The actual Yahoo! ownership percentage is included in parentheses. Players are listed from the most owned to the least owned after Sunday’s games. Be sure to check out Jen Piacenti’s expanded list of waiver-wire players every Tuesday!
Jordan Love, QB, Packers (45%)
The quarterback position is an absolute disaster with all of the injuries, which have now claimed Joe Burrow and Deshaun Watson. With that being said, how is it that Love is a free agent in more than 50% of Yahoo! leagues? After posting 20.9 points in a win over the Chargers and a game with Detroit next, that number should rise.
Isaiah Likely, TE, Ravens (3%)
Likely is going to be the most added player in fantasy football this week. With Mark Andrews done for the season, the second-year tight end should see a much bigger piece of the snaps and targets in the Ravens offense for the rest of the season. At what is a super thin position, Likely now needs to be rostered in most leagues.
Zach Charbonnet, RB, Seahawks (44%)
I was honestly surprised to see Charbonnet available in so many leagues, but that won’t be the case this week. The rookie took over the top spot on the depth chart for an injured Kenneth Walker, who suffered an oblique ailment in Los Angeles. If he is forced out of action, Charbonnet would be a viable No.2 fantasy back in Week 12.
Tutu Atwell, WR, Rams (26%)
The Rams could be without Cooper Kupp (again), as he suffered an injured ankle and missed most of their win over Seattle. If Kupp is forced to miss time, that would put Atwell back on the fantasy radar like he was earlier in the year when Kupp was out. He’s a free agent in most leagues and faces the Cardinals next on the slate.
Elijah Moore, WR, Browns (42%)
Moore, who was in this column last week but remains a free agent in most leagues, had another nice stat line with six catches for 60 yards and 12 fantasy points. He has now scored 27.4 points in two games without Donovan Peoples-Jones, who was traded to Detroit. He’s also seen a combined 14 targets in those two contests.
Jayden Reed, WR, Packers (36%)
It’s tough to predict which Packers wideout will be the most productive on a weekly basis, but Reed has been pretty consistent in recent weeks. He’s scored 11-plus points in four of his last five games, including a 19.2-point performance in a win over the Chargers. That’s his second straight game with more than 19 PPR points.
Demario Douglas, WR, Patriots (33%)
I was surprised to see Douglas available in more than 60% of leagues. He’s been the Patriots best fantasy wideout in their last four games, scoring 10-plus points three times while seeing at least six targets in every contest. Douglas also got a cut in some leagues since the Pats had a bye, so grab him now for the rest of the season.
Odell Beckham Jr., WR, Ravens (29%)
Don’t look now, but Beckham Jr. is starting to produce in the stat sheets. He has put up at least 11 points in three straight games, during which time he has 16 targets and has scored two touchdowns. While he’s not seeing a ton of offensive snaps, OBJ has been pretty efficient lately and is well worth a look off the waiver wire.
Jake Browning, QB, Bengals (1%)
Fantasy managers in super flex leagues will be looking to add Browning, especially if they lost Joe Burrow for the season. The downgrade is obvious, but the overall state of the quarterback position is a nightmare. On a positive note, Browning is getting the keys to an offense that is loaded with talent, including Ja’Marr Chase.
A.T. Perry, WR, Saints (0%)
You might not remember, but Perry posted 38 yards, a touchdown and 11.8 fantasy points against the Vikings in the week before the New Orleans bye. With Michael Thomas expected to miss time due to an injury, Perry could see a bigger role in the Saints pass attack moving forward. He’ll face the Falcons next on the schedule.
