It’s time to hit the Waiver Wire for Week 11!
Week 10 was pretty kind as far as injuries are concerned. There were no season-ending moments, and only a few players got banged up. Hopefully, your team remained healthy, and the only thing you have to worry about is bye-week absences.
Four teams are on bye this week (Falcons, Patriots, Colts, Saints). Make sure you have a replacement for Alvin Kamara, Bijan Robinson, Chris Olave, Jonathan Taylor, and Michael Pittman. It’s unlikely you need a QB replacement, but two signal-callers make today’s list, as they should no longer be available for your opponents.
More impact players are possibly returning from injuries this week (De’Von Achane, Justin Jefferson), but let’s grab some insurance just in case.
Noah Brown, Wide Receiver, Houston Texans
I’m in. I was in last week, and therefore, Noah Brown went off on all my benches. Ah, well. Houston’s receivers should all be rostered as we go through bye weeks. None of them have been healthy all at the same time this season, but even if they all are, it’s hard not to at least play Brown in the flex after he has put together back-to-back 150+ yard games. Without Nico Collins, Tank Dell ran the most routes and had the highest target share on Sunday (38%), but Brown accounted for 48% of the team’s yard on his eight targets (21% share).

Joshua Dobbs, Quarterback, Minnesota Vikings
Dobbs continues to impress in Minnesota, leading the Vikings to consecutive wins as underdogs. The Vikings are now on a five-game winning streak and are the hottest team in the NFL. There should be no remaining questions about whether Dobbs is a QB1 for fantasy as he now has the second-most rushing yards (368) after Lamar Jackson, with whom he is also tied for the third-most rushing touchdowns (5). Dobbs is the QB8 for the season in total fantasy points and the QB12 on a per-game basis. Since joining the Vikings, he is the QB4, and Justin Jefferson’s return looms large. Dobbs should not remain on the wire, even if you pick him up so your opponent doesn’t.

Devin Singletary, Running Back, Houston Texans
The Texans finally got their run game going, and it was a winning formula for Houston. Singletary racked up 161 all-purpose yards and a score on Sunday with no Dameon Pierce vs. the Cincinnati Bengals. Singletary was already cutting into Pierce’s playing time before his injury, and it would not be surprising if he leads the backfield even when Pierce returns, as he has averaged three or more yards after contact per carry in four games this year. We have seen Singletary turn it on down the stretch before, and with the growing threat of CJ Stroud in the passing game, it will be harder and harder for opponents to stop the run. This week’s matchup vs. the Cardinals is excellent, as Arizona has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game this year.
FAAB up to 11%
Keaton Mitchell, Running Back, Baltimore Ravens
Mitchell broke off a 39-yard touchdown run and caught a 32-yard pass in just six snaps played in the first half of the game Sunday. Presumably, due to the fact that he is nursing a hamstring injury, his overall snaps were limited to a total of just 13, with Justice Hill rotated in. However, after his huge breakout performance last week, it’s hard to see this remaining a three-man committee for too long. Mitchell should move up in the pecking order as he gets healthier. He is giving me De’von Achane vibes-so, in other words, go ahead and spend up with your FAAB.
FAAB up to 16%
DeMario Douglas, Wide Receiver, New England Patriots
Douglas has been in this column for multiple weeks as a top WR target yet remains under 40% rostered. After putting together a six-catch, 84 receiving yards game on nine targets Sunday and finishing with double-digit fantasy points in three of the last four weeks, there shouldn’t be any more questions about whether he is the new WR1 in New England. Sunday was a career-best day for the wideout, despite being limited with an ankle injury all week and having unpredictable quarterback play.
FAAB 8%
Brandin Cooks, Wide Receiver, Dallas Cowboys
Cooks was dropped in many leagues, as until Sunday, he had accumulated only 163 receiving yards for the season. He more than doubled that number on Sunday after he caught nine of his ten targets for 173 yards and a score. Cooks finished as the WR3 heading into Monday night football. With Dak’s improved confidence and the ridiculous threat of CeeDee Lamb, who is breaking NFL records, things should continue to open up for the speedy veteran.
FAAB 7%
Trey McBride, Tight End, Arizona Cardinals
Check if McBride was dropped in your league after a disappointing Week 9 performance. With Kyler back under center, McBride entered Monday night football as the TE2 for the week, catching eight of nine targets for 131 yards. He led the team with a 28% target share and 53% of the team’s air yards. Next week’s matchup with the Texans is favorable, too, as Houston has allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to opposing tight ends this year.
FAAB 9%
Ty Chandler, Running Back, Minnesota Vikings
We mentioned Chandler as a pickup last week due to Cam Akers’ injury, assuming he would be the handcuff for Alexander Mattison. It looks like he could be moving into the lead role this weekend after Mattison suffered a concussion in the third quarter. Chandler had 45 yards and a touchdown on Sunday vs. a tough Saints defense while sharing time with Mattison. This week’s matchup is vs. the Denver Broncos.
FAAB up to 9%
Tajae Spears, Running Back, Tennessee Titans
Spears is a high-upside handcuff with some standalone value, which could come in handy during your bye weeks.
FAAB 6%
Romeo Doubs, Wide Receiver, Green Bay Packers
Doubs has caught a touchdown in three of the last four games and remains the most dependable receiver for the Packers with a 20% target share.
FAAB 6%
Trenton Irwin, Wide Receiver, Cincinnati Bengals
Should Higgins remain out, Irwin is a what-the-heck flex. He caught a 32-yard touchdown pass on Sunday vs. Houston and played in three wide-receiver sets.
FAAB 4%
Luke Musgrave, Tight End, Green Bay Packers
Musgrave had a career-high 64 receiving yards on Sunday, catching two of his four targets. He’s had two big games in a row after scoring a touchdown in Week 9 and catching three of four targets for 51 yards. No team has allowed more receiving yards to tight ends than the Chargers, who have also allowed a 78.7% catch rate to the positions. Musgrave is an excellent streamer for next week, with the potential to be a starter for the rest of the season.
FAAB up to 4%
Michael Mayer, Tight End, Las Vegas Raiders
Mayer scored his first career touchdown on Sunday night vs. the Jets with an impressive catch in the end zone. He’s played more than 80% of the snaps in the last three contests, and Aiden O’Connell targeted him five times on Sunday, and this weekend’s matchup vs. the Dolphins is favorable.
FAAB 3%
Sam Howell, Quarterback, Washington Commanders
Howell has finished as a Top 10 QB in five of the last six games. He leads the league with 2,783 total passing yards, and his 273 passing yards per game rank fifth. His 17 passing touchdowns are tied with Patrick Mahomes, Justin Herbert, and Dak Prescott. He also leads the league with a whopping 444 dropbacks, indicating the Commanders will remain in favorable game scripts for fantasy managers. Don’t worry about the sacks. Howell should be rostered in all two quarterback or deeper leagues.
