A girl remains in 'stable' condition in hospital after a woman and child were knocked down by a car in Rutherglen.
Emergency services raced to reports of a collision involving a car and two female pedestrians on Croftfoot Road around 2:50pm on Thursday.
The woman was rushed by ambulance to Glasgow's Queen Elisabeth University Hospital, and a child to the Royal Hospital for Children for treatment.

Police have confirmed that the woman has since been discharged, while medical staff say the child is in a stable condition.
Meanwhile, the male driver of the car has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "Around 2.50 pm on Thursday, 2 June, 2022, officers were called to reports of a collision involving a car and two female pedestrians on Croftfoot Road, Rutherglen.

"Emergency services attended, and a woman was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elisabeth University Hospital, and a child to the Royal Hospital for Children for treatment.
"The woman has since been discharged and medical staff say the child is in a stable condition. The road was closed for around 3 hours to allow enquiries to be carried out.
"The male driver of the car has been reported to the Procurator Fiscal in connection with road traffic offences."
