EDMOND DANTES is tipped to land the Racing Tv Handicap Chase (4.40) at Market Rasen.
The mount of incoming champion jockey Brian Hughes should be racing for a hat-trick at the Lincolnshire venue. After a two-and-three-quarter length score there in February, the pair parted company on faster ground at Newcastle. Off his new mark of 93, the six-year-old was creeping into contention when he fell at the third last fence. That rating is unchanged and he has every chance of making amends at a track which suits.
THE VOLLAN is well handicapped ahead of the racingtv.com Handicap Hurdle (2.55). He has been competitive in the 130s previously and now finds himself from a berth of 112. Connections revert to the headgear combination he has form in, including a close second at Worcester in a race two grades higher. Trainer Laura Morgan has revived the fortunes of similar types, while jockey Lewis Dobb has a 20 per cent strike rate for the yard this season.
