ELSALS is fancied to land back-to-back wins when he lines up in Haydock's Join Racing TV Now Handicap (3.30).
The three-year-old led throughout when he opened his account over seven furlongs at Lingfield last month. On his second run of the season and his first since being gelded, he scored by two and a quarter lengths in first-time cheekpieces.
Kevin Philippart De Foy’s charge had plenty still left in the tank and the form has been franked by the runner-up. Further progress is expected over the same trip, with favourite for the jockeys' championship William Buick in the saddle.
