Police called to killer Aaron Campbell's family home as person rushed to hospital

Police have descended on the home where Aaron Campbell lived at the time he murdered Alesha MacPhail.

Officers were called to Ardbeg Road in Rothesay on the Isle of Bute on Monday morning.

Monster Campbell, lived there with his mother, Janette when he killed six-year-old Alesha.

Campbell was 16-years-old when he raped and murdered the schoolgirl on July 2, 2018.

Two girls found the body of a man allegedly murdered after spotting his toes sticking out of a shallow grave.

Five people have appeared in court accused of killing Tomasz Dembler, 39.

He suffered a broken back, 15 broken ribs, a fractured and most likely had his hands cut off when he died, a court has heard.

'Sadistic' teenager and friends 'laughed as they tortured doctor to death in park'

Dr Gary Jenkins, aged 54, tragically died of a severe brain injury in hospital two weeks after the attack (MEDIA WALES)

A doctor was "beaten and robbed" by two men and a teenage girl who "laughed as they tortured him to death" at a park, a murder trial has been told.

Dad-of-two Dr Gary Jenkins, aged 54, sustained life-threatening injuries during the incident.

Dr Jenkins, who was described by those who knew him as "a loving father, husband and brother" tragically died of a severe brain injury

However, now that the economy and most industry sectors are finding their financial feet again, a recent survey of 1,000 people carried out by Opinium on behalf of Hargreaves Lansdown found that over one-third (34%) of people aged 45-54 have no plan in place for their remaining working years.

Virgin customers warned to cancel before price hike deadline for broadband, phone and TV services

Virgin Media customers have the option of cancelling before a price increase hits (PA)

Virgin Media customers have been warned about a price hike coming into effect on March 1.

Scores of Virgin broadband, TV and phone package customers will be affected by the price increase, averaging an additional £56.40 per year or about £4.70 a month.

If that's not in the cards for you, customers can turn down the increased costs if they contact Virgin Media by February 15.
