IMD Darjeeling Pune the India Meteorological Department West Bengal Bihar Uttar Pradesh North

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh weather alert as the monsoon remains active across the country, with heavy rainfall and thunderstorms likely in 11 states, including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, on July 23.

An active southwest monsoon is likely to bring heavy rainfall in the coastal districts of West Bengal till June 24, the India Meteorological Department said on Wednesday.
