Weather Tomorrow August 15: Heavy rain alert in Delhi-NCR, UP, Punjab, Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujarat; check other states

The monsoon is likely to remain active across several parts of India on Saturday, with the IMD forecasting heavy to very heavy rainfall in multiple states. Widespread showers are expected across parts of northwest, central, eastern, northeastern, western and southern India. Several regions are likely to experience heavy rain, thunderstorms, lightning and strong winds. Here is the state-wise weather forecast for August 15.

Delhi-NCR weather tomorrow

Delhi-NCR is likely to remain generally cloudy tomorrow, with morning showers and another possibility of thunderstorms in parts of the region during the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to stay around 26°C to 32°C. The IMD has also warned of heavy rain and thunderstorms in Delhi, with gusty winds possible, so residents should stay alert, particularly while travelling or attending Independence Day events.

Haryana Weather Tomorrow

Haryana is expected to remain cloudy with scattered showers, with temperatures around 26°C to 34°C.

Punjab Weather Tomorrow

Punjab is likely to see rain and thunderstorms tomorrow, with the IMD forecasting heavy rainfall at isolated places. Rainfall activity is expected to continue across the state, so residents should be prepared for wet conditions and possible travel disruptions.

Uttar Pradesh Weather Tomorrow

Uttar Pradesh is likely to experience cloudy conditions with occasional rain and thunderstorms on Saturday. The IMD has also placed UP among the areas under a weather alert, with heavy rainfall possible in parts of the state.

Himachal Pradesh Weather Tomorrow

Himachal Pradesh is likely to remain cloudy and humid, with periods of rain expected in the afternoon tomorrow. The IMD has also forecast widespread rainfall over the state, with heavy rain possible in parts of Himachal Pradesh during the ongoing monsoon spell.

Jammu and Kashmir Weather Tomorrow

Jammu & Kashmir is expected to see rainfall activity tomorrow, with the IMD forecasting isolated heavy rain over Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and adjoining areas from August 14–16. Isolated very heavy rainfall is also possible on August 17.

Uttarakhand Weather Tomorrow

Uttarakhand is likely to see light to moderate rain and thunderstorms across most districts tomorrow. The IMD has also warned of heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places, while thunderstorms and intense rain spells are possible in other areas.

Odisha Weather Tomorrow

Odisha is likely to experience rain and thunderstorms tomorrow, with the IMD forecasting heavy rainfall at isolated places across the state. Thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds of 30–40 kmph are also possible in some areas.

Rajasthan Weather Tomorrow

Rajasthan is expected to remain mostly cloudy tomorrow, with temperatures around 26°C to 32°C. The IMD has also indicated rainfall activity in parts of the state, with heavy rain possible in isolated areas amid the ongoing monsoon spell.

Maharashtra Weather Tomorrow

Maharashtra is likely to remain cloudy and breezy tomorrow, with showers possible in the morning and thunderstorms in some areas during the afternoon. The IMD has also placed Maharashtra among the regions on alert for adverse weather conditions, including heavy rainfall in some areas.

Gujarat Weather Tomorrow

Gujarat is expected to remain hot and partly cloudy tomorrow, with breezy conditions in the afternoon. Rainfall activity may continue in some areas, and the IMD has issued a yellow watch for heavy rainfall in parts of the state.
