Weather Forecast August 14, 2026: The monsoon is expected to remain active across several parts of India on Friday, with heavy to very heavy rainfall forecast in multiple states. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has predicted widespread rain across parts of northwest, central, eastern, northeastern, western and southern India.
A Depression over coastal West Bengal is expected to move nearly northwestwards across Gangetic West Bengal and Jharkhand during the next 24 hours. The monsoon trough is also active and lies close to its normal position.
