Weather today, July 20: Rainfall is expected in many areas of the country today. From thunderstorms in the national capital to very heavy rain in the Northeast and coastal regions, the monsoon continues to dominate weather patterns. While the showers have brought relief from rising temperatures, warnings have been issued in several states due to the risk of flooding and landslides.
The IMD has predicted heavy rainfall in several regions across north, east, northeast, central and southern India, along with thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds in many areas.
