NEW DELHI: According to Nine's Wide World of Sports, former Australian wicketkeeper-batter Adam Gilchrist stated that if Australian batters wish to win the second of the fiercely contested Border-Gavaskar Trophy, the pink-ball Test match against India in Adelaide, they will need to spend more time at the crease while batting.
Gilchrist advised the struggling hosts to go defensive and "weather the storm" as Jasprit Bumrah tore through the Australian lineup, claiming eight wickets, including a fifer, in the first innings in Perth.
