Weather resistant: $3m fund to protect Pacific projects

Australia will spend $3 million to buffer Pacific nations against the devastating effects of climate change as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese calls on more nations to help the region.

The announcement at the pre-COP31 event in Fiji on Wednesday will fund four projects in island nations Fiji, Papua New Guinea, Tuvalu and Kiribati, including road and communication infrastructure.
