Heavy rain will fall in Leeds on Friday morning - but it will be much sunnier in the afternoon.
Downpours are expected in most parts of Yorkshire before midday, but the wet weather is expected to clear and could be replaced by sunny spells in the afternoon. In its daily forecast for the Yorkshire & Humber region, the Met Office said: "Early morning low cloud or fog patches clearing.
"Rain then spreads east across all parts during the morning with fresh, gusty winds. Rain clearing during the afternoon, leaving sunny spells. Maximum temperature 17 °C."

Heavy rain will fall in Leeds at 9am and the downpours could continue until at least 11am. Some light showers could fall at midday, but it will be a clear and sunny afternoon in the city.
The maximum temperature will be 16°C. The sun will rise at 7.58am and will set at 5.41pm. Looking further ahead, spells of rain are being forecast for the weekend. "Unsettled" weather is expected on both Saturday and Sunday across Yorkshire.
