It is set to be another freezing cold day in Greater Manchester - with a yellow warning for ice and fog remaining in place.
The Met Office warning covering our region will be in place until 11am today (Monday) as the cold snap caused by air that has moved in from the Arctic continues. Forecasters warn that freezing fog and patches of ice are likely to lead to some slow or difficult journeys.
There are likely to be icy patches on untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths, slower journey times and delays on buses and train and a chance of delays to flights. In Greater Manchester today (Monday), it is expected to remain dry with no further snowfall forecast.

It will be bitterly cold with temperatures of -2C forecast for 8am, though it will feel more like -4C. Forecasters predict it to be sunny in the morning and into the early afternoon, before clouds set in from around 3pm.
It is then set to be a mainly cloudy afternoon and evening. The mercury will reach highs of just 1C today.
Overnight into Tuesday, temperatures will drop to freezing before another cold day with the mercury only reaching highs of 1C. The UK as a whole will stay cold this week with the risk of sleet and snow at times continuing, especially in coastal areas, with overnight frosts, severe at times.
Met Office Chief Meteorologist, Steve Willington, said: "It is staying cold with daytime temperatures remaining only a few degrees above freezing in many places over the coming days and overnight temperatures dropping to -10C or lower in isolated spots. Although below average, these temperatures are not that unusual for this time of year.
"There is still a risk we could see some freezing fog in places particularly southern England, especially for Sunday and Monday mornings. And there is also a small risk of a band of sleet or snow moving into the far Southeast on Sunday.
"If this happens it could potentially bring some disruption, especially to rush hour on Monday. A warning has been issued."
