
Queensrÿche were one of the most talked about metal bands of the 80s, thanks to such state-of-the-art albums as Operation: Mindcrime and Rage For Order. But the Seattle band’s mainstream breakthrough came with 1990’s gleaming Empire, a record that put them in the Billboard Top 10.
