West Brom have finally come to the decision to axe former Newcastle United boss Steve Bruce, after a run of just one win in 13 league games which has left their Championship status in jeopardy.
The Baggies occupy the relegation zone in 22nd place and are without a win in any of their last nine games across all competitions.
Bruce joined West Brom four months after his dismissal from Newcastle in February but has lasted just eight months at the Hawthorns.

There have been plenty of Newcastle supporters sharing their thoughts on Bruce's sacking on social media. Here is what they've said:
@joshnufc_ We warned you all. We told the media over and over again and we're shut down. He's a Premier League legend apparently, a good family man. He should never get another job again after this. Pathetic excuse of a manager.
@BerryCorner1881 Newcastle fans right once again.
@NathB_89 He lasted longer than I expected.
@SamPlayer66 Happy for you lads. It's tough watching Bruceyball.
@StuartColthurs1 Pleased for the WBA fans. Every Toon fan knew what they were going to go through. Glad it's over and the fans can still have some kind of a season. Hope to see an upturn in their form, fans deserve it.
@ToonUnderPod 3 things in life that are inevitable - Death, taxes and Steve Bruce getting the sack.
@jaander93 Very pleased for West Brom fans. They deserve this!
@Jxke_NUFC You've been freed from the Brucey shackles.
@Cullercoats111 Cannot get my head around why you appointed him in the first place. Who's decision that was needs to take responsibility for what can only be described as a catastrophic decision. The evidence was there. Mind boggling.
