A famous chippy near Glasgow has created a seriously indulgent dish which people have been travelling from miles around to try - a deep-fried battered roll and chips with cheese and curry sauce.
When we first of heard about McMonagle's chippy's latest culinary invention, and how people had been travelling from as far as Edinburgh to try it, we knew we had to get out there to sample it.
So, having skipped lunch, Glasgow Live headed to the famous boat restaurant and takeaway to try it.
And if that wasn't enough for us, the team even threw in some of their best-selling frickles (deep-fried pickled onions) for us to enjoy on the side.

The legendary McMonagle's Boat, which is one of the most famous chippies around and was last year named Scotland's Restaurant Takeaway of the Year, offers both a sit-in and takeaway service (as well as a unique sail-thru offering for people on boats on the canal).
Already well known for their incredible culinary creations, this latest offering might just top the lot.
"The first time we put it on the menu, I won't name any names but one of the staff members had a bad hangover and she loved chips cheese and curry so she asked me to put it in a roll and batter for her," explained manager Chris Reilly. "All of the staff loved it, so we put it on Facebook for a laugh and it just went crazy. People were travelling from Edinburgh just to try it."
The popular treat, which sees the team create their usual roll and chips with cheese and curry sauce before dipping it and batter and frying it, has been proving hugely popular once again, going viral on Facebook after Chris' wife Debbie, whose parents John and Agnes McMonagle started the business, re-posted it earlier this month.
"We recently reshared it and have had the same response as last year, people who have never been to the boat before have been coming here just to try it."
And since they've reintroduced it as a special it's been flying out the door.
"Sunday is our 'hangover day' so of course we sell loads of the battered rolls, frickles and ice blasts," He explained, smiling. "Obviously, we are known for our fish and chips, but the battered rolls bring new people to us and it's just a bit of fun that people love."
After watching Chris expertly put one of the rolls together for us we sat down in their famous restaurant to enjoy it - and it was everything we hoped it would be.
The roll was given added crunch thanks to the tasty golden batter, while the chips with were surprisingly fluffy and light while the gooey cheese and curry sauce adding a real punch of delicious flavour.
Best of all, any worries about it being stodgy or overbearing were immediately out to rest as it was surprisingly light, though it is probably best kept as a tasty treat rather than a regular lunchtime effort.
After seeing the smiles on our faces, Chris added: "We also do the rolls with our popular homemade gravy instead of the curry if people prefer."
Looks like we know what we'll be getting next time we come here.
Priced at £3.75, the roll is a must-try if you enjoy a wee chippy, but don't forget to add in a frickle or two (45p each) as the best-selling side is a truly delicious addition.
